REVIEWS
“Sancaba’s 2013 Pinot Noir is super-expressive and bold to the core. Intensely sweet and perfumed, the 2013 offers notable depth in an overt, forward style that will please readers who like overt wines. Sweet red cherries, plums, spices, mint and hard candy are all nicely delineated. Drink this juicy, voluptuous Pinot over the next few years. This is a gorgeous debut from Sancaba. (Drinking window: 2016-2020).”

“Mid ruby. An unusual but confident style of Pinot. Lightly spicy and aromatically herbal without being weedy. Lots of fruit whose ripeness level is optimal. Medium bodied with some but not excessive sweetness. Well done – though I suspect it is not given away…. Pretty forward. The acid level is only just high enough but it’s a very pretty wine for current drinking. 13.5% Drink 2015-2018.”
