We’ve been producing wine on Mt. Etna since the 2001 vintage, first Nerello Mascalese from rented vineyards and over time from 26 hectares we own and cultivate across the northern side of the volcano, from plantings of old vine Nerello Mascalese and newer vineyards of Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, and Cesanese d’Affile.

2001: First vintage of Passopisciaro (now Passorosso)

2005: First vintage of Franchetti

2007: First vintage of Guardiola bianco (now Passobianco)

2008: First release of Contrada wines Rampante, Sciaranuova, Porcaria, Chiappemacine

2011: Contrada Guardiola added
